چکیده
• Spherical MoO 3 /TiO 2 –SiO composites with core/shell type, where the core is an α-MoO sphere and shell TiO anatase SiO amorphous was synthesized. Hierarchical structures in which layer are linked through oxygen (Ti-O-Mo Si-O-Mo) results lower vacancy concentrations (0.0425) a reduced bandgap width (2.58 eV). The exhibit high photocatalytic activity (rate constant 0.0645 min ‒1 ). layered spherical promising candidate material for decomposition of organic dyes textile waste water. In this study composites, having hierarchical structure, were synthesized on TOKEM-320Y anion exchanger template using by sol-gel methods. Properties characterized XRD, EDS, SEM, 3D X-ray microtomography, Raman, IR, DRS, BET, PL techniques. microtomography EDS analysis showed hollow diameters ranging from 200 to 400 μm structure. formation composite (2.56 eV compare 3.19 sample, analyzed UV–VIS DRS method). performance evaluated degradation methylene blue (MB) aqueous solution irradiated I excilamp (λ max = 312 nm). photoabsorption energy properties related interaction between occurs Ti-O-Mo Si-O-Mo. exhibited much higher , efficiency 93% (20 min). This work demonstrates relation heterostructure its photocatalitic activity, providing fundamental guidance improve materials.

Synthesis of hierarchical Ag2ZnGeO4 hollow spheres for enhanced photocatalytic property.
An Ag(2)ZnGeO(4) photocatalyst was fabricated by ion-exchange reaction between amorphous Zn(2)GeO(4) suspension and Ag(+) solutions. The Ostwald ripening effect induced the formation of hierarchical hollow spheres. Compared with the reference bulk Ag(2)ZnGeO(4), the hierarchical Ag(2)ZnGeO(4) hollow spheres showed enhanced photocatalytic activity.

A photocatalyst is defined as a substance which is activated by adsorbing a photon and is capable of accelerating a reaction without being consumed [1]. These substances are invaria‐ bly semiconductors. Semiconducting oxide photocatalysts have been increasingly focused in recent years due to their potential applications in solar energy conversion and environmen‐ tal purification. Semiconductor ...
متن کاملphotocatalytic decomposition of low-concentrated trichloroethylene and tetrachloroethylene in water
the photocatalytic decomposition of trichloroethylene (tce) and tetrachloroethylene (pce)in water was studied. tce and pce were present in water at very low concentrations of about 15 μg/dm3. thisconcentration level corresponds to the one occasionally occurring in groundwater. results of this researchconfirmed usefulness of the photocatalytic process for successful removal of low-concentrated t...
متن کاملHIERARCHICAL COMPUTATION OF HERMITE SPHERICAL INTERPOLANT
In this paper, we propose to extend the hierarchical bivariateHermite Interpolant to the spherical case. Let $T$ be an arbitraryspherical triangle of the unit sphere $S$ and let $u$ be a functiondefined over the triangle $T$. For $kin mathbb{N}$, we consider aHermite spherical Interpolant problem $H_k$ defined by some datascheme $mathcal{D}_k(u)$ and which admits a unique solution $p_k$in the ...
متن کاملSulfur-Doped Carbon Nitride Polymers for Photocatalytic Degradation of Organic Pollutant and Reduction of Cr(VI).
As a promising conjugated polymer, binary carbon nitride has attracted extensive attention as a metal-free and visible-light-responsive photocatalyst in the area of photon-involving purification of water and air. Herein, we report sulfur-doped polymeric carbon nitride microrods that are synthesized through thermal polymerization based on trithiocyanuric acid and melamine (TM) supramolecular agg...
